- Ez-Mail 1.20 Notes [Monaco 9 Point font]
-
- To create alternate Ez-Mail data files, you must do so from the Finder. If you
- currently have a large data file, the easiest method is to rename it (it should
- be located in the System Folder on a HFS disk); open Ez-Mail - which will create
- a new data file called "Ez-Mail Data File"; and then select the new file (in the
- Finder) and duplicate it for each data file you want. After making the required
- copies, rename the duplicate files to whatever you wish. A few file name
- suggestions are "Sysops", "Editors", "Beta Testers", "Friends", etc..
-
- Note that the default data file Ez will open is "Ez-Mail Data File". For those
- brave soles who want to change the default file, you can do so using ResEdit.
- Look for "STR#" resource labeled "Ez". The fourth string in this resource
- contains the default data file name. Change it to whatever you wish. (If the
- file doesn't exist, Ez will create a new file with this file name.) Of course
- you'll want to make the changes on a backup copy and remember you're not suppose
- to distribute modified versions of Ez-Mail!
